Do you speak German? You are available in the next two months and are interested to work in the area of Basel? Then read on! Your key responsibilities: . Application Support incl. user management, resolving tickets and training users for COTS and internal applications . Support, migration and setup of an environmental monitoring system . Maintain, extend, renew or create support documents, training material and internal working procedures . Lifecycle Management for business owned applications incl. software updates & patching . System and network administration incl. server hard- and software as well as network equipment . Provide hands-on support for hardware, network and software maintenance on-site. . Collaborate with internal and external support organizations and maintain and extend support concepts incl. maintenance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) . Working closely with interdisciplinary teams of wet lab and dry lab collaborators to integrate, analyze, and interpret data and identify potential problems What you?ll bring to the role: . 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science / Computer Science . Fluent in English and German (written and spoken) . Ability to work in different expertise areas and being comfortable work into new areas . Friendly, supportive and flexible personality with quick learning ability . Proficient with scripting languages like Python, Powershell, etc. . Good interpersonal skills coupled with demonstrated networking capacities to ensure effective working in a matrix organization and a multi-disciplinary team environment. Strong skills in communicating and collaborating online . Working with internal and external project groups and representing user requirements in those groups .
